Bubble Sofa Made of Bamboos

Yii is an effort from the Taiwan Craft Reasearch Institute, an institution that tries to encourage respect for traditional crafts in Taiwan. Works offered at the Milan furniture fair reflect the co-operation between designers and craftsmen, each of the works being carried out in traditional techniques.

Bubble sofa is made of 732 bamboo hand woven balls, metal and rubber rings which it refers back to the long history of bamboo furniture and show unlimited valences in the material. via: Yii
