The chic white furniture design house, New England Lifestyle has opened a new flagship retail store at 54 New Kings Road, Fulham; all of the main items from the hand made and exclusively designed furniture and furnishings range are displayed there on two floors.

New England Lifestyle founder and designer, Nick Burrin, started the company six years ago from a small workshop deep in the West Sussex countryside; the company now features some of the most sought after furniture of its type in the UK.

“I love white because it never goes out of fashion” Nick explains, “Once you’ve tried it in one room, the whole house tends to follow; white is very restful and has a wonderful calming effect on a home.”

Featured here, is the Vermont range- elegant and timeless 2.5/3 seater sofas with swan necked arms, £1468/£1668, Armchair £898, all of which provide a high standard of comfort and quality.

The beech frames are hand made with zig-zag springs, upholstered with fixed covers in the following colours: white, linen, sandstone or cameo.

Nick designs all of the furniture and the unique look is created by combining white emulsion walls and wooden flooring – oak, maple, beech or just simple white painted floorboards – with the colour supplied through curtains, cushions and throws.

This elegant yet simple backdrop, united with the timeless design of the furniture, creates a stylish, unfussy environment, which radiates light, tranquillity and space.
